With nine nominations, everyone was anticipating Beyoncé’s fashion choice. Given that she is pregnant with twins, we were also expecting epic maternity fashion. As always, Beyoncé didn’t disappoint!
She performed in a beautiful gold gown by Peter Dundas who was the former creative director for Roberto Cavalli. It is the first look from Peter Dundas’s own line and what better way to showcase your collection than having Beyoncé wear it during her Grammys performance?
Apart from her dress, her make up was beautiful and on point! Sir John spoke to Allure.com on how he achieved the perfect look for her performance.
He created a golden glow by adding the L’Oreal Paris True Match Liquid Lumi Illuminator in Golden into her foundation. He used the mix on the cheeks and added gold-powder eyeshadow for extra highlight (L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow in Eternal Sunshine).
For the matte brown smoky eyes, he used shades from L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude with a touch of gold pigment (L’Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Eyeshadow in Nude Fishnet) on the center of the lids and along the tear ducts to “give it more of a 3D effect.”
If you were wondering about the lipsticks; it is from Dose of Colours. Sir John mixed Cork and Chocolate Wasted to get the perfect pout.
